I grew up in a small town in, NC. My husband Tim and I have two married daughters, four granddaughters and one grandson. Tim and I have been serving as missionaries with Calvary International, dba Go To Nations, since June 1992.
Even though I grew up attending a Baptist church, while a sophomore in college, I had a radical salvation experience where I went through deliverance and a powerful infilling of the Holy Spirit. I have had a hunger for the spiritual things ever since, learning to lean on the Holy Spirit in my everyday life. My passion to mature in Christ, to know God and to raise up mature spiritual sons and daughters who will do the same, is my life mission. As people have helped Tim and me in our journey, I help people refine their life calling and remove the hindrances that will keep them from fulfilling it.
From 1992-1996, Tim and I served in Russia and Hong Kong. While in Russia, we served 54 national churches in the Volga-Ural region by training leaders, establishing three in-church Bible Schools, and assisting with 37 church plants. I also had a unique opportunity to teach the Bible in Russian public classrooms, leading many teachers and principals to the Lord.
In Hong Kong, we served as Director of Personnel for 138 missionaries with Revival Christian Church Ministries with Revs. Dennis and Kathy Balcombe. We had the privilege of implementing staff training and helping to bring a very diverse group of international ministers together.
From 1996-2002, we pioneered International Christian Fellowship, a house church in the suburbs of Nashville, TN, with a focus on discipling leaders and strengthening the family. As then leaders with 2equal1.com and GrowingFamilies.Life, we learned how to minister to the whole family.
In April 2002, we moved to Jacksonville, FL, to work at Go To Nations’ World Headquarters and served as Vice President of Ministries together. We invested significantly in the development of GTN’s Equipping Track for new missionaries and mobilizing the next generation of young adults into missions. During this time, God gave us a clear understanding of how to reach the unreached, who are primarily the poorest of the poor, through linking the Gospel with Community Transformation work.
In March 2009, God gave us the vision for GloDev Inc, the Relief and Development Arm of Go to Nations. After four years of planning and birthing GloDev Inc, I took the lead role as Vice President of Ministries in April 2013 for Tim to lead as Founder and CEO of GloDev.
In 2015, I was set in as Executive Vice President of Global Ministries overseeing the training, development and health of Go To Nation’s global field force, currently over 1,500 missionaries and national workers.
We believe God has given us a key to partner missionaries and development workers in reaching the remaining unreached people groups in our generation.
In this day and age we live, we are willing to do anything our Lord asks of us. Thus, An Hour A Day With God!
